This can be a very lucrative source of income but not many people
actually achieve real success with this. You have two options to earn
from this, you can either set up a dedicated website and invest money
into marketing that site, or you can use it as an additional source of
income. The later is the most popular method by the majority of people
who come across this particular earning method early in their
Internet-Earning career. You can use these sites to place ads and
products on your site. You can also take it to the next step which is
to set up your own PTSU website but you need to build up a large
financial reserve fund, because you will be paying your members on
commission that you wont necessarily have received yourself yet. The
next level is to concentrate on one particular product or service and
build a dedicated site to market that product or service from. Again
you will need a reserve fund to cover hosting and domain names etc. |

Building your own site may seem like a daunting prospect and seem like
too much trouble to do. It is however, a task that requires only fairly
basic IT skills. There are many hosting companies out there that offer
ready made templates for those that haven't got the time or knowledge
available to build one from scratch. Each template will come with an
easy to operate paragraph/page and HTML editors. These are very easy to
learn and the site that provides the service to you, or are thinking of
using will have an easy to follow tutorial, which means you will be
able to start building/editing almost straight away.
As regards the time aspect, well if you take some time and put a little
thought into the site it could start paying you dividends on the time
invested. Your own site can help increase your on-line earnings in a
variety of ways, some of which include; increasing you referral
earnings in the GPT industry, earn you commission payments from some of
the survey sites that offer this type of earning opportunity, and also,
allow you to venture into the affiliate marketing aspect of on-line
earning. There are other numerous benefits to having your own site as
well. So it really does deserve consideration and not instant dismissal
as something that's too much trouble or too time consuming. For a step
by step guide on building and running your own site, including screen
shots animating the different aspects, click HERE. |

If you want to advertise your site, blog or even your PTP links, then
banner advertising is one of the most effective ways of doing so. It is
indeed, many peoples preferred method of advertising. Make sure your
banners are, short, to the point and attention grabbing. My banners are
custom made and start from as little as $2.50 each. You can get make
your own with some of the free banner making sites that are out there,
but, a lot of people use these sites and there's only a certain number
of templates available. So have a look around and make sure the
template you use isn't already widely used by others. This is important
because once people see a particular banner, after a certain number of
times, they mentally 'block out' that particular image and, do not
always notice the different message that you would have placed on it.
So give it some careful consideration and make sure your ad is
different and attracts as much attention as possible. |

This is a very simple concept, you shop on the web and receive a
percentage of what you spend as cash back. Different sites will have
different retailers / stores listed. Percentages will also differ
between each site as well. I cant recommend one site over another just
on the rates they offer, because the stores or sites that one site have
to offer may suit one person better than another. It really is just a
case of trial and error to find one that's better suited to your needs.
You can of course join more than one and use some retailers from site 1
and some from site 2 etc. Each one will have a different payout
threshold and not all of them have the same terms an conditions either,
so it's important to check those out before joining. |

This can be a fun way to pass any spare on-line time you have. There
are serious competition takers out there though, I should know there's
one in my household! The ones I list, are all free to enter sites and
the prizes available cover a wide range of products, anything from a
free download to a car or house. Some professional competition takers
have an impressive list of prizes won, but I think its best to take
them as they're intended, just a bit of fun. But again that's just my
opinion and if you decide to 'go for it' then I wish you good luck. |

It is crucial that you are organized in order to maximize your
productivity. Each person will have there own method of organization
that works the best for them. But if you are new to internet-earning
then this will at least get you off to a good start, then, obviously,
you will adapt it to suit you better. When you have multiple types of
mail coming in you need to segregate it properly so you don't drown in
a sea of emails. I split mine up as follows, Paid To Read Mails, Survey
Invites, Forum notifications, Administrative mails etc. How you divide
them is up to you. You can either use one email provider and make the
separate folders, then set up filters so that each mail goes into the
corresponding folder. Or you can use different email for different
things such as Gmail for the GPT mails, Hotmail for the surveys, Yahoo
for the admin mails etc. I personally Google as it allows you to create
different folders to direct incoming mail into, as well as giving you
access to a free organizer, calender, spreadsheets, etc. As I said you
will find what works for you best of all. This is just to give you some
ideas to start you on your way, but stay organized, as staying
organized gives you more time to earn. |

I haven't yet had the time learn Forex in full yet, but one site I am using is babypips.com its the best and simplest way of learning I have come across. Many experienced traders recommend a minimum
of three months practice with a demo account before actually 'going
live'. Remember there are risks involved so the more you prepare, the
lower those risks will be. |

These are an invaluable source of knowledge. Each forum will have its
own agenda, that is to say the topics covered that will have the most
posts and discussions about. Some will specialize in the GPT industry,
others will specialize in HYIP sites or FOREX. There are a few things
to keep in mind when using forums tough, especially those that are
about earning money. The number of posts a member has made is not
necessarily a sign that they can be trusted. Some people are just
looking for another person in their downline and may not be as careful
as perhaps they should be, about what they recommend and to who they
recommend it. Always have the presence of mind to question each piece
of information given to you. You will soon be able to tell who is being
helpful, and, who has maybe just their own best interest at heart.
Always research any site or program before you join no matter who
recommends it - even me. That said there is a lot more positives than
negatives about joining forums and they can save you a lot of time and
money if you use them right. |

This is one area that I am not involved in yet or had time available to
review in-depth. Many people use freelancing as a full time occupation
and others use it to supplement their main source of income. There are
many types of freelancers, script writers, article writers, web
designers to name just a few. If you are considering this option,
please make sure your research your source of projects. Check to see
how many users are registered and if there's a history of complaints
listed against that particular site / forum. |

I am not an expert with this subject, even though I run my own site!
This section is for your information and to help you compare the many
different services and providers that are out there. This section is
under constant research as I list the companies as and when I find
them. Again, this is where forums can prove very useful as a lot of
them have sub-sections for site owners, and you can gain some very
useful knowledge from them. For the comprehensive directory of hosting
companies click HERE.

Unfortunately not all programs in the GPT world have the intention of
paying their members. Some will not only avoid payment but they will
also sell your personal information as well. There are a number of
things you can do to reduce this risk, time spent in research is a lot
less than the time spent working away only to find you wont be getting
what you have earned, they are;
Check
the blacklists that the various forums list programs on and search on
the internet with the name of the program and scam in the same search
box, as this is the popular turn of phrase used by members that haven't
been paid by a program, that search should bring up some of the
complaints made by members/former members if there are any to be found.
Search the forums for good and negative posts regarding the site that
you are thinking of joining.
The Whois Database, this lists the details of the person or company
that has bought/registered the domain name of the site in question.
This is a very useful tool.
Consider contacting the PO / WM twice, once to ask for details about
membership and the other asking for details about advertising. Make
sure the questions you ask are plausible and not directly covered on
the homepage or in the terms. For the membership question it could be
something like "Are you planning to introduce a particular payment processor in the future"
(If they state payments by PayPal and E-Gold, you could ask are they
planning on accepting AlertPay for example). For the advertising
question it could be something like (if you are a site owner) "I have a site and wondered if you would consider offering me a discount for a major purchase"
This serves three fold, if the owner doesn't reply to the membership
question then thats a red flag that they may be one of those
non-responsive owners, and if you run into difficulties then this could
be a major problem. If they ignore both then they could have done a
'runner' already and you would be wasting your time, if they respond to
the advertising and not the membership question, are they just
concerned with making money but not paying it out? But if they respond
to both then that reflects well on them and the site they run and could
be an indication of an owner thats happy to assist both members and
advertisers whenever they can.
Of course there are programs that go along happily paying members and
running the site well but for one reason or another it runs into
difficulties and disappears. Whilst this is a sad occurrence for both
the owner and members, this is what forums are particularly good for as
people will start to post as soon as they see anything amiss. Remember,
fore-warned is fore-armed. |

Everybody needs to think about staying safe on line. Many people never
think about the dangers that they and their PCs or Laptops face
whenever they go on-line. They are either unaware of the dangers or
they have the attitude "It will never happen to me".
These threats can range from Malware, Spyware and Viruses for your PC,
all the way through to Identity Theft. There are very simple measures
that everybody can take to dramatically reduce these risks. They are;
Install some security packages on your PC, whilst it is important to
subscribe to one of the many services available, there are many free
products that you can use until you can afford to purchase one of those
packages (you can even use them alongside the subscription packages -
as I do). I list some of the subscription services along with some of
the better free services available in the PC Security section of the
site HERE.
There are also fraudulent emails sent out frequently that will, in one
way or another, attempt to gain some of your personal information
either by hidden spyware in the link which may be in the mail itself,
or, by completing a form and submitting it by post or email. The golden
rule here is, if it looks to good to be true, then it probably is to be
good to be true. The link in the email could contain some fraudulent
software, or, if a lot of information is requested, that could be an
attempt to steal your identity. You can also take very simple measures
to reduce the risk even further, they include, some sort of Key Guard
software - this scrambles each key stroke you do when entering
passwords, so if anybody is monitoring your PC, with key logging
software all they will see is a number of random key strokes and not
the actual passwords you are entering. Some of the internet browsers
offer these products as optional ad-ons that you can install in your
browser for free. Also consider using symbols for letters in your
passwords. So for example an 'a' could be replaced by the '@' key or
the number '8' could be used for an 'E' etc.
You can also get script monitoring / blocking software, this stops
'hidden scripts' running on your PC. This at best will slow your PC
down and at worst will be a very serious breach of your PC's security.
Again some internet browsers of this type of software as an ad-on that
you can install in your browser free. Please think about you and your
PC's security and do what you can to stay safe on line. Nobody can be
'bullet proof' but everybody can reduce the risks they face. |

This is probably the most crucial aspect of internet-earning. Don't be
afraid to try different browsers to find one that suits you best of
all. Again this section is mainly for those that are new to
internet-earning. You need one that has the filters and add ons that
suit your style of working. I have tried a few and the one I have found
to be the most reliable is FireFox. It has add-ons and plug-ins that
include; form filling software, the ability to restore a surfing
session if your PC crashes, keystroke scrambling software, Noscript to
stop hidden scripts running, the ability to detect zeroiframes,
bookmark organization software and many other useful features and
add-ons as well. |

This can be very risky as well as being profitable. I suggest only
investing what you can afford to loose, if you can't afford to loose
then maybe you are not ready to start investing just yet. Although the
gains can be higher than say, a savings account at your local bank or
government funded investments or schemes, they are not nearly as
secure. You must research this in full before investing or you could
loose everything, and loose it quickly as well. I suggest joining a few
forums and studying the various posts made in those forums before
making a decision . You also need to now how to recognize Ponzi's and
Pyramid schemes. In basic terms, these rely on new investors / members
to invest money to pay those higher up the chain. At some point in time
that stream of new 'investors' will dry up and when it does, nobody up
the ladder will have any new funds and some wont even have recouped
their initial outlay. This is only a brief explanation intended for
those who are just starting out on their Internet-Earning journey and I
strongly advise that you take the time to research it thoroughly before
acting. Do what you can to maximize the odds in your favour. |

This is very similar to surveys. You can mystery shop in two main ways,
In person and / or, on the internet which is also known as E-mystery
shopping. This section on the site is still under ongoing research and,
because my sites visitors are from all over the world I am
concentrating on E-mystery shopping. I am coming across the sites one
by one and as yet, not found a comprehensive free to access database.
You can either keep popping back periodically to check for any
additions or subscribe to my newsletter by sending an email with
'subscribe' in the subject field to my newsletter service HERE, to be notified as and when I find them. |

This section of the GPT industry operates in
a
way that you will need to visit the site to click the links, they are
all 24 hour unique visit links (meaning you can only receive credit
once in 24 hours for clicking and reading the ad) but, some of the
busier sites will deliver all of
the clicks to the ad in a very short while, and the stable and
established ones will be adding links throughout the day, so you may
wish to visit more than once a day if you have time. The most important
aspect with this section of the industry is that there is a big influx
of new sites every week. The PTC section of the industry is a lot more
unstable than PTR, with many of the new sites offering links worth 3 or
4 times the value of an ordinary paid email ad. As a result they are
lasting, in some cases, only a few weeks. Members and outside
advertisers are going to compare prices of advertising within different
sites, and different types of sites. As a result the owners of these
types of sites find it very difficult to attract advertisers. If they
have no ads, members will go elsewhere, it they have no members, the
advertisers will find that there advert will take a very long time to
get the number of visits they have paid for. In that case, they too
will go elsewhere. So no members and no advertisers means that the site
goes out of business taking all members earnings with them.
So again, you need to research the sites you are thinking about
joining. Even with research, you can join a site that you have seen the
members stating they have been paid multiple times, but by the time you
reach payout, because of the reasons above, it has gone out of business
and you have lost all earnings accrued up to that point.
This is also an area of the industry where the selling and buying of
referrals is prevalent. Please remember that although many people buy
sets of referrals and make a large profit doing so, many more, buy
referrals and unfortunately lose money in doing so. Research of
every site before you join is of the up-most importance and it is no
different here either. The problem in this section of the industry is a
great percentage of the programs are new and therefore have no history
at all to check. A
lot of people now dismiss the Paid To Click section of the industry
altogether because of the instability caused by new sites appearing
every week, and then failing within six months.
Another thing to keep in mind with this section of the industry is that
the average payout request is $10.00, so if you do not have a large
down-line then there is the very real possibility that the site will
close down before you reach payout. You might try and avoid that by
joining low payout sites, but then you have to realize that most of
them started out with low payout limits, but as they started failing,
gradually began raising the limit. Again, if you have no down-line
there is a chance that the payout limit will rise before you have even
reached the original, lower limit.
Another cause for concern is a worrying trend that has started to
occur, in which a new site will make one or two rounds of payments, the
people that receive these payments will then have the confidence to
start recruiting new members, as they now have proof of payment.
Prospective members see that people are being paid and they will join.
This larger member base now allows them to bring in bigger additional
advertisers. At this stage members are now also buying ads as they have
confidence in the site, other members start buying referrals, again
because confidence is high, it is at this time that the program
disappears after receiving this large influx of payments from members
and advertisers.
So this area of the industry, at the present time, warrants careful
research and consideration when looking for new sites to join. |

The 'Paid To Post' section of the GPT industry
is a very simple concept. You join a forum and will receive credit in
one form or another for participating in various threads within that
forum. Payment is usually given in the form of cash or advertising credits.
They are not large payments, so its best used as a nice addition to
something you would have done anyway. The 'Paid To Review' section of
the GPT industry pays a little better as you will normally have to
visit a site and complete a short feedback form on that particular site. |

Paid to promote is an additional method of earning, most commonly
attached to PTR sites. The first thing you need to know are what the
terms and phrases you will see in the PTP section actually mean, so
I'll go through them now.
Approved Sites This is a list of sites where you are permitted to advertise your PTP page at, this will vary from site to site
CPM This means
cost per thousand, M is a Roman Numeral that means 1000. So when you
see PTP advertised at $0.60 CPM, this means for every 1000 credits you
earn are worth $0.60.
Credit Each
person that views your PTP page will earn you a predetermined number of
credits, the number of credits awarded are dependant on what tier the
member who viewed your ad is.
Invalid Hit This
is a hit to your page that will not earn you credit. It can be because
the member didn't let the page load properly before closing the page
down, it can be a repeat visit - meaning they have already clicked on
your page within the last 24 hours, perhaps at another site your page is
also advertised at, or, a hit from a site that is not listed in the
approved sites directory.
Targeting This
is where you can target an advert for your PTP page to a specific
audience, with PTP you may try to target your ad to members of Tier 1
and 2 countries as they will earn you more credits per view.
Tiers There
are four tiers (some sites will have five tiers), each tier consists of a group of countries. The higher
the tier, the more credits you earn, so a member in the UK, which is a
Tier 1 country, will earn more credits for you when they visit your
page, than a member in China, which is a Tier 4 country.
Unique Hit This
is a view to your PTP page from a member that has not visited the page
in the last 12/24 hours which ever is applicable (most are 24, but a
few sites offer 12 hour unique visits).
Valid Hit This
is a hit that has been credited to your account, because the member
that viewed the ad allowed the page to load and had not visited it in
the past 12/24 hours (whichever is applicable)
Some programs with PTP's credit cash to your account automatically for
each valid hit you receive to your PTP link whereas in most programs,
the credits will get accumulated until you redeem them yourself.
Some sites will offer additional banners to use within this section and
some sites list all the banners in your members referral centre
section. The main thing to remember when using PTP is that use the
correct URL at the correct time. To help me I list the PTP link on the
same document that has the rest of my ref banners and URL's but I bold
the PTP and display it in a different colour. By doing that way, it is
easier for me to select the appropriate link that I need.
Each site will offer different PTP rates, one site may state a
$0.60
CPM, whilst another offers $0.80. Each view of your PTP will earn a
specified number of credits. How many credits depends on where the
viewer is located. A user in the UK will earn more credits per view for
you as they are in a Tier 1 country, whilst a member in China will earn
you less credits for the same view as they are in a Tier 4 country.
All the information about how that program defines their Tiers is
listed under "Tiers Info", this is broadly the same for most sites but
its always best to double check first. For this reason most members
will try and target their views to Tier 1 and 2 countries, therefore
earning them more credits per view. Each site will convert the credits
to cash at a different rate, so you need to check that before you start
your campaign as well.
You must always check the conditions of use for the PTP feature at each
individual site, some programs require you to click a certain number of
links, whilst others may have no conditions.
Once you know where to advertise and how much your credits are worth
and how many credits will be earned for the different Tiers, you are
ready to go. You can either buy advertising for you PTP ads, you can
use click exchanges (you will click another members PTP link and in
return they will click yours), you can list them in your signature at
forums, or you can use traffic exchanges. Most people will use a
combination of all these, but what you must ensure is that you are only
using approved sites for displaying you link. If you use a site that is
not on this list, every view received will be invalid. You can see what
percentage of invalid hits (along with all the other information you
need) by clicking "Statistics", always check back here regularly, try
and keep your "Invalid" statistics as low as possible because some owners may
suspend your PTP page if this percentage gets to big. Again this can
vary from site to site. |

Get Paid To Read, this is abbreviated to PTR, meaning Paid To Read.
This method of earning entails you being sent emails, which you will
receive a small payment to read the content of, and then click a link.
This link will take you to the site of the product or service being
advertised in the paid email. Then a timer will start and after a
pre-determined number of seconds, your account will be credited.
Unfortunately the GPT industry is one in which dishonesty is all too
prevalent. It is also an industry, that when you know how to recognize
and avoid this dishonesty, can be fun, rewarding, open up other methods
of earning (thereby increasing your earning potential) and last, but
not least, introduce you to new friends and acquaintances. So in order
to minimize and try and eliminate the dishonesty where possible,
certain means and methods are employed by both members and
site/program owners. You need to be aware of, and recognize, the steps
and measures taken by the sites and programs you are about to join. So
to familiarize you with these aspects I will explain what you are about
to encounter when you join your first program and receive the first of
your paid mails. Instead of listing them all and expecting you to
memorize them, I will go through the measures taken in the order you
will encounter them. I have found this way to be the best method due to
the feedback I have received from the people I have helped in the past.
I will then help you to work in a way that is honest and fun. After all
this industry needs both honest site/program owners and members.
The primary cause for concern amongst program/site owners is ensuring
that their member base is an honest one, that they will give their
advertisers the attention to their products and services that they have
paid for. With this in mind, the owners will be looking for dishonest
members that are not paying attention, not reading the advertising that
they are being sent, even though they have requested to be sent those
adverts. They will also be trying to detect and prevent members using
"bots" or software programs, that will open and click links, (thereby
getting their accounts credited) without they themselves, even seeing
the adverts and links.
So they employ a wide range of methods to detect this fraudulent
activity, some are unique to each site and some are methods in common
use right across the GPT industry. The only ones you need to be aware
of, as an honest member, are tests to see if you are actually giving
the adverts and links your attention, as you agreed to, by opting in to
receive these mails. Therefore these are mainly English and reading
tests. English tests because most of the sites
require you to be able to read and understand English, and reading
tests, to ensure that you are actually reading the adverts.
There are three specific tests that you will encounter and they are, in the order you come across them;
Bad Keyword Selection Options. These will be in the section where you
will check the boxes of the subjects you would like to see advertising
about, when you first register with program/site. There will be options
for selection something like, Computers & Internet, Business
Opportunities, Home & Garden etc,
etc. You simply select which of these topics you would like to see
advertising for. Some of them will be English tests, things like, I
cheat, Delete Me, I can't Read English etc, etc. Obviously if you
select these then you are either not paying attention, and not reading,
or you can't really read and understand English. So selecting one of
these options will result in your account being deleted or suspended
before you start.
Turning numbers. After you have registered with the site and receive
your first paid mails you will have to log on when you click your first
paid link. You do not have to do this separately, the link in the paid
mail will take you through this process when you click your first link
or the day. You may come across something call a turning number. Not
all sites use these and of those that do, you may encounter them
periodically as you work through you paid mails. This is normally in
the form of a set of numbers appearing in a box and you have to click
the corresponding number from a selection of numbers below it. If you
click the wrong option it will keep reloading different numbers until
you select the right one. This is primarily to detect and prevent the
"cheat Bots", the automated software programs accessing the paid links.
How ever you also need to show you are paying attention to select the
correct combination.
And finally, English Tests and/or Cheat Links. These are emails that
are periodically sent out to make sure that you are able to read and
understand the adverts. They will have the same general layout as the
paid mails but instead of the advert wording it will say something
along the lines of;
"This is a cheat link - do not click this link", "Clicking this link
will cost you (and then a value here) - do not click", "This is a bad
email - delete this mail" etc etc. They are quite obviously not adverts
and if you are able to read and understand English and are not a "Cheat
Bot", then you would not click this link. However, if you do
accidentally click one of these cheat links, you will normally be taken
to a special page in the site that will state, "You have just clicked a
cheat link - close this window or tab immediately". If this happens
then you need to contact the site/program owner immediately and explain
what you have done. Some programs/sites will allow so many of these
clicks and then you will lose your account and earnings. If however,
you do contact them and explain, some owners may understand that you
have made a genuine mistake and that cheat click will be removed from
your account. This is obviously at the discretion of each individual
owner but you must always contact them, it is better to be safe than
sorry. |

This section of the industry unfortunately is not open to a lot
of people. Most Paid To Sign Up sites (PTSU's) are open to mainly
members from Tier 1 and 2 countries, and even some of those are
excluded. Some of the sites will allow international members to join as
promoters, this means you are only able to earn by recruiting, and then
earning through commissions from your down-line. So part of your
research (as with all sites) is to read the Terms Of Service (TOS) to
check your eligibility.
If
you are able to join, then you could find the section of the industry
very useful. You will get paid to subscribe, try and buy to/from
various sites/companies/programs. There are offers that require no
purchase or deposit, and others that require a product purchase, or
paid subscription. Some of the later will require a credit card in
order to complete the purchase or subscription. But you will always
earn an amount greater than the initial purchase/subscription fee,
providing the offer is approved.
You need to follow the terms and conditions closely when completing
these offers, as there are qualifying criteria that have to be met in
order for you to complete the offer successfully and qualify for
payment. There are members that sign up for various products and
services with no intention of continuing with subscription or purchase
after they have received payment. They will also try and complete the
same offer across many sites. This type of activity is completely
against the spirit of this section of the industry. You should look to use these type
of programs to see if there is a product or service that you are
genuinely interested in, try it, then receive your payment. I look at
this section of the industry as allowing me to continue with my normal
purchases and interests, in testing new sites/services/products and the
payment I receive is a bonus.
There is a wide range of offers and products available on many
sites, but always try and record any that you participate in, if you
repeat that offer at another site, only the first transaction will be
approved, but if you are using this section of the industry in the same
spirit it was intended with, that will not be a problem. |

This is a section of the GPT industry that I do
not do. It is a fairly simple way of earning on line though, as the
name says you get paid a certain rate to surf on line. This is done by
downloading a piece of software that monitors your on-line activities.
Some sites will have limits on how many hours they will credit you for
each month and others will simply pay you a smaller rate but credit you
for a longer period of time. |

It is very important that you get into a regular routine of cleaning
and scanning your PC/Laptop to keep it optimized. Below is a list of
free products that if used daily, will keep your PC optimized and
working at its full potential. It is very important that also include a
subscription security package as well as the products listed below. You
can find details of these types of packages HERE
AdAware
This is excellent at tracking and removing cookies and other forms of Adware placed on your PC/Laptop. You can download it HERE.
SpyBot Search And Destroy
The main purpose of this one, as the name suggests, is to detect and remove spyware. You can download it HERE.
Spyware Doctor
This one is much the same as SpyBot but it also has an extensive database of known "bad sites" and the ability to identify and remove any infection caused by them. You can download it HERE.
Key Scrambler
This
will scramble all keystrokes made on your PC/Laptop when entering
personal data such as passwords etc. This is protection against Key
Loggers which are pieces of software that, when infected, will track,
record and transmit all data sensitive information from your PC to a
third party, giving them access to your on-line accounts etc. You can
download it HERE.
Noscript
This
is an excellent tool that stops hidden scripts from running on your PC.
At best these will slow your PC/Laptop down and at worst will stop
applications being used to infect your PC via Flash, Java etc. You can
download it HERE.
After you have installed Noscript, you will need to give each site
permission to interact with your computer when you first visit it, by
doing the following, ONLY ALLOW SITES THAT YOU CAN TRUST, never allow
anything permission, if it is not what you expected to see, and in some
instances you will see more than one script wanting to interact with
your computer. Even with trusted sites there may also be other scripts
being prevented, these are normally advertising scripts run by
companies like Google for example. Click the Noscript logo, Its
displayed at the bottom of your browser and in a blue "S"
with a red circle around it, find the name of the site/program from the
pop-up menu and click allow XXX, (XXX will be substituted by the name
of the site/program). This will then allow this site to run the
necessary scripts, to allow it to interact with your computer and
browser.
Adblock Plus
This
an excellent tool that allows you to block adverts and harmful content
on your PC/Laptop. I find it particularly useful in blocking annoying
audio adverts that will suddenly blare out your speakers nearly giving
you a heart attack. You can also enter URL's of sites and images block
them, permanently, from loading in your browser. You can download it HERE.
Ccleaner
This
is an excellent tool that automatically cleans all your PC/Laptop of
data that is no longer needed. This will also delete any threats hiding
in your temporary Internet files, this is a growing occurrence
unfortunately. It also has a feature that will repair registry issues
on your computer as well. I advise using it at the very end of your
work session, just before you shut down your computer, you will be
amazed at the amount of disk space this tool will free up. You can
download it HERE.
It is very important that you use the products listed above daily,
Computer security and optimization are now your top priority. Get into
the habit of performing regular scans on a regular basis.
You also need the "live protection"
that is only offered by a subscription security package. There is an
expansive directory, along with many offers, discounts and coupons,
available HERE. |

Make no mistakes, if your on-line then your PC is at risk. The dangers
are elevated even more in the GPT world. I have seen many Trojans and
Viruses come and go. They are an ever present danger. There are people
that take issue with certain sites, forums and programs and then try
and in many cases - succeed, infecting them with Trojans, Viruses and
Spyware. Another threat is key loggers, these are programs that monitor
your PC in order to obtain user names and passwords. I am not an expert
in PC security but you need to have protection.
There are two plug ins for FireFox that will help, the first is
Noscript, this stops hidden scripts running on your PC. These will at
best, slow your PC down and at worst, threaten your PC security. The
second is KeyScrambler, this alters the keys you use when entering a
password and other sensitive log in data. It also randomizes the
pattern as well. So for example you type a word in that has two letters
the same next to each other- password, the first s will be scrambled to
a random key on your keyboard, for example; #, the second s will be
scrambled into a different character, for example, k. This means that
patterns in the scrambling process can not be detected either.
You also need a firewall and an anti-spyware program. There are many
available and I use a total of 6, three purchased subscription packages
and 3 free programs that I choose to make a donation to. The products I
list, both free and subscription packages, are just some of those
available, aiming to give those that haven't got any protection the
means to find out about the different types of products available.
You should also, always use extreme care when logging into your Banks
and payment processors. Never click any link in any mail that they
send. It doesn't matter if it says "You have received a new payment, click here to see details of this transaction" or even "There
is an issue with you account, click here to go to the resolution
department to see details of this matter or your account and funds will
be suspended". Always open a
new window or tab and login manually. No matter how genuine that mail
looks, even with all the logo's, it could still be fraudulent and that
link will monitor your login and then they have access to your account
and will be able to withdraw your funds. It takes a few seconds longer
but could save you a lot money and heartache. Please do what you can to
protect your PC and you when you are on line.

If you do take the plunge and start your own site, you are going to
want people to see that site. For them to see it you have to advertise
it. The main and most popular ways of advertising sites are, emails via
the Paid To Read sites, banners in the form of rotator views or
guaranteed clicks via most types of the Paid To ... sites. You can also
use traffic exchanges, sponsorship, text links and many more methods as
well.
When you launch your campaign, you have to have an ad that's, unique,
eye catching and informative with out being long winded. Have a good
look around the web, take note of the ads on TV, radio, billboards etc
and note what grabs your attention, what looks or sounds cheap, what
looks or sounds boring, what's unique etc. This should then hopefully
give you a few ideas as to what works and what doesn't.
You also need to be prepared to allocate a certain amount of your
earnings to cover the costs involved of mounting an advertising
campaign. You can use your points (if you earn them) from some of the
GPT programs to pay for some, upgrades may give you x amount of monthly
ads by mail, banners and / or text links. But I do strongly suggest
that if you are just starting out in GPT and want to advertise, wait
until you have earned the cost involved first, and then use that to pay
for the advertising. I suggest this for a few reasons, because it is
always better to operate in the black, if for any reason you decide to
give up internet-earning - it wont have cost you anything. Plus you can
use that time to glean valuable information that you wouldn't
necessarily have been aware of before, and therefore, saved you wasting
some of your hard earned funds. For example it could have stopped you
advertising at a site that would have taken a long while to deliver the
hits/views purchased, or, stopped you advertising at one of the
fraudulent sites that you perhaps hadn't had the experience to
recognize. Whilst this type of site wouldn't hurt you financially, what
damage would it have done to your reputation to be found advertising at
such a site?
Hopefully I have given you some ideas and things to think over. I wish
you luck with your next campaign and I look forward to seeing those ads
around! |

This is a good way to boost your earning
potential. It does however, depend on your own personal demographics.
These are things like which country you reside in, your position and
responsibilities at work, what purchasing power you have at home and
work, as well as a lot of other factors to be taken in to
consideration. You will not earn a full time income doing surveys and
never pay to join a survey data base, as these are the people that make
such claims as earn $xxx per hour etc. You can find all the survey
sites your self through one the many free to access database sites such
as this site and many others. There are hundreds of survey sites out
there and I am in the process of adding them to this site as well. If
you have time to register for more sites than I currently have listed,
I suggest Yellow Surveys this is one of the most complete databases I
have come across and I highly recommend it. If you are going to
register with a lot of survey sites I suggest using form filling
software as the registration process can be quite lengthy. Roboform is
one of the best available and it offers a free trial so you can become
accustomed to using it before you decide to purchase it. You can access the free trial HERE |

These are just some of the many products available and I list them as I
come across them. These types of products will help you in one way or
another. They range range from browsers to form filling software. After
all if it saves you time then your productivity increases and that
means more money in the bank for the same amount of time worked. Some
are free products as well. |

These can be a good source of free advertising. It can also be used to
keep up or raise your sites traffic rankings. This will be important to
you for things like Adsense and Affiliate Marketing as both these types
of earning methods can rely on your sites traffic ranking. That said
most people in the GPT industry use them for advertising. When using it
this way it is important to remember that you don't want the same
person surfing at a traffic exchange to see your site 6 times in one
day. It is a known marketing fact that people will often purchase a
product after seeing it advertised more than once, ie, it could be the
fourth time someone sees an ad before they sign up or purchase. But
that is not normally after watching the same ad ten times in an hour,
they will just 'block' that ad mentally. The best way is try and space
out those ads over a longer period of time. The way you do this with
traffic exchanges is to set a lower percentage rate of hits and then
allocate them manually on days when you don't have time to surf the
exchange your self. By doing it this way you get a better 'quality
view' as its more likely to space out the times that somebody sees your
ad. Its better for somebody to see it once a day than ten times a day,
those nine views are then wasted when they could have been used the
next day when you didn't have the time to surf. You will have to play
around with the hit rate yourself, and, after a while you'll know if
you need to increase or decrease it to better suit your needs. When
looking around for traffic exchanges the most important factor will be
the surf ratio. If it is quoted as a hit ratio of 1:1 that means for
every site you view somebody will view yours. I would advise against
using exchanges with a poor ratio such as 1:5 - you surf 5 sites in
order for one person to surf yours. |

The Watch List is a collection of sites and programs I have had issues
with. This is not intended to replace the kind of data that the various
forums collate about such sites. My hope is that you use this in
conjunction with those lists and not instead of. The more information
you have access to, the better it is for you. |

My site is a living creature. By that I mean it's constantly evolving,
developing and expanding every week. Plus the information I publish is
reviewed in detail again every eight weeks. To make sure you stay up to
date with the site plus, industry announcements, new program
announcements, the tip of the week plus many more features, subscribe
to the internet-earners weekly newsletter HERE,
just put 'subscribe' in the subject field. By the same means if you
have news that you would like the internet-earners out there know about
then send an email with 'publish' in the subject field along with the
information you wish to include in the newsletter. I will however check
all submissions before publishing to make sure the information
published is in the same spirit of the site. I will always reply with a

As honesty is my number one priority, part of that involves explaining
how my site operates. Some of the links on my site will be links that
will allow me to earn from them and others will not. The information
and links that I publish and list, are done so regardless of whether I
make money from them are not. The site costs money to run with hosting,
dedicated email address, keeping it ad-free etc and the above methods
help to contribute to those costs. Please feel free to contact me via
email HERE, at my sites dedicated email address if you need any further information about this. |

I take every effort to make sure that this site is kept up to date and
make it a useful site and service to help as many people as possible.
If you notice any errors or broken links please let me know via email HERE, and finally; If you like this site tell others if you don't then tell me! Thank you for reading and enjoy your visit. |
